Classic Blackjack is a card game that is played with one deck of playing cards. It is played against the dealer and not against other players. The goal is to reach or come as close as possible to the card value of twenty-one without going over.
The numbered playing cards are worth their face value while the jack, queen and king cards are worth ten points and the ace is either worth one point or eleven points. Being dealt a face card or a ten valued card and an ace is called blackjack and worth twenty one points. After each hand is played the cards are virtually shuffled to allow a fair deal for the following hand.
How to Play Classic Blackjack Online
The bet can be selected from the Classic Blackjack chips that are located on the bottom of the screen. The betting area on the Classic Blackjack table can be clicked on to place the bet. There are five betting areas on the table as up to five hands can be played at once so bets can be placed on the desired number of hands.
Any number of chips can be bet on a hand provided they do not exceed the maximum number allowed. The total stake box at the bottom of the screen will display the total bet amount and the double bet button will double up the bets on each hand. There is an undo button that will remove the previous action and a clear all bets button that will remove all the bets that have been placed. After the deal button is pressed and the game is underway the bets can’t be cancelled. The deal function deals two cards per hand and the dealer receives two cards with the first face up.
Depending on the hand that was dealt the options to hit or stand will be decided upon. If the choice is to hit, another card will be dealt and again if the cards are of a low value another card can be dealt. This goes on until the hand wins, sticks or goes bust. The dealer’s hand must hit for any value below seventeen and stick on values of seventeen and higher. There are options to split or double depending on the cards in the hand.

There is a 3 to 2 pay out when the hand is a blackjack which adds a higher edge over the house. Classic Blackjack can be played with a single hand or a multi hand of up to five per game. The options menu displays a betting history button that shows all information on the previous hands. The colour or design of the cards can be selected.
Background and realistic sound effects can be switched on or off and the volume level can be adjusted. An expert mode feature offers an option for manual auto play which sets the bets and gameplay with the use of a Classic Blackjack strategy.
